Role | Ngā mahi
The People and Capability Co-ordinator will provide high-quality coordination and administrative support across the People and Capability function, ensuring services are responsive, organised, and aligned with organisational values and processes. The role supports the full employee lifecycle, learning and development, organisational development, wellbeing initiatives, and people systems, helping to create a positive and professional experience for kaimahi, leaders, candidates, and external partners. Other key accountabilities include:
Coordinating recruitment, onboarding, and employee lifecycle administration, including documentation and system updates
Managing and responding to People and Capability queries, ensuring timely resolution and escalation where needed
Supporting learning and development activities, including scheduling, communications, and maintaining training records
Assisting with organisational development and wellbeing initiatives, including events, communications, and reporting
Maintaining accurate people data, systems, reporting, and audit-ready documentation
Supporting policy implementation and identifying opportunities to improve processes, systems, and workflows
You will have | Nga Pukenga
Certificate, diploma or tertiary qualification in Human Resources, business administration, learning and development or a related field; or equivalent relevant experience.
A valid/current work visa, residency, or citizenship (required)
Full NZ Driver's License (required)
Strong digital literacy across Microsoft 365 and confidence using HRIS, LMS or similar systems.
Experience in an HR, coordination, administration, recruitment, learning and development or similar support role.
Strong organisation skills, attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines.
Experience maintaining records, preparing documentation and working with systems and data accurately.
Strong verbal and written communication skills and a customer-service mindset.
Ability to build effective working relationships with managers, kaimahi and external providers.
Cultural awareness and willingness to support Te Tiriti o Waitangi in practice.
