Ember Korowai Takitini:
We provide innovative, person-centred solutions for people experiencing mental distress, addiction issues and people with intellectual disabilities. We support people to live the lives they choose, and we challenge the systems that hold them back.
By investing in our employees, we aim to grow our own leaders.
We are an equal opportunity employer. We welcome and embrace diversity and inclusion in the workplace and are committed to providing a safe and supportive environment for all.
The Service:
Ember Systems are part of the Ember Korowai Takatini group of companies. We provide SAAS software services to the Ember Group, along with a number of other key clients in the Health and Social Services sector.
Having recently purchased the LifeData software, we are now looking to enhance the software’s functional capabilities and to extend the user base.
Before we can grow the business, we need to ensure we have a first-class team that can actively support and develop the application. The appointment of the Full Stack developer is key to achieving these goals.
About the Software Application
The application is developed using Microsoft .Net Framework 4.8, C# using MVC and Entity Framework 2. JavaScript, jQuery and Bootstrap 3 are used on the client side to enhance client-side services. On the Server side, the application interfaces to a Microsoft SQL Server database using MS Entity Framework.
We have recently moved the application to MS Azure, replicating the In House environment and we wish to move it to Azure Web Services and Azure SQL as soon as we can.
We have a plan in place to upgrade the software to .Net 6, Entity Framework 6 and Bootstrap 5 during the second half of 2023. The application has several exciting new features on the drawing board to further enhance the product, and to provide integration with other external Health and Social Service functions.
